A propos de moi

(2014) I'm an American writer, age 53, living near Paris. I prefer to speak my native English, as I'm still working on it. I"m really really tall, 178 cm. I used to be a TV and radio reporter, national and international, then raised my bilingual children. A close friend recently called me "a professor in civilian clothes. " I suppose my style is jeans and diamonds. . . I've travelled all over the world, lived in 4 countries. I lcan't think of a time I wasn't enrolled in a class. I've run book clubs, Paris tour groups, and can be found lurking in the odd museum. I was educated near NYC, and have also lived in DC, London, York, Dublin, now Paris; I also enjoy the countryside, even cycling if there are no hills. I've renovated four houses and hope to do that again, among other things on the to do list before it's too late. J'ai deux amours, mon pays et Paris.

A propos de mon partenaire idéal

I'm really looking for new friends, in the Paris area, and not jumping in to anything. I prefer to exchange by emails to see if there is common ground. I prefer to meet people who speak English. . . and are as tall or taller than I am, and with a certain level of education.
The people I know are quite accomplished, but not pretentious about it. My friends are youthful, energetic, adventurous, conscientious, thoughtful, loyal.
To be honest, it's a long shot to meet anyone even to be friends with anyone from a web site, isn't it?
